Concrete Jungle

NEW YORK= CONQUERED. My trip to New York all in one post. It was my second time to the big city and I enjoyed every second of it. Took the trip for shits and gigs with my friend, Brynn. We had a blast. We explored parts of every neighborhood but we have SO much more to see. There is so much happening you just can't fit it in, in five days. I wanted to post during the trip but I didn't bring my computer so here it is all in one!

Our days were spent exploring and eating too much food. It was rainy the first couple of days but that didn't stop us. We went to Central Park on mothers day and it was a bright sunny day for all families to enjoy! We made a little make-shift sign that said 'happy mothers days from NYC' and sent the pictures to our mothers. We had some strangers ask to use the sign for pictures. Needless to say our sign was a hit.

We spent too much money in Soho, ate AMAZING food in Chinatown, walked through Little Italy (which was one of my fav spots). Also we were feeling spontaneous and got tattoos in Williamsburg, Brookyln. On our walk home one night we decided to take a different way and we came across this super rad pop-up shop called Grapes NYC. Their clothes were so hip and on point. Definitely took advantage of a local Brooklyn shop and bought a few things. One of the owners saw my Little Mermaid tattoo on my foot and took pictures of it. Got to talkin with her a bit, her name was Claudia. She was a big ball of sass. I loved it.

We went to the Highline on our last day. It's located in the cute Chelsea neighborhood. I would love to live somewhere there! Anyways, the Highline is an elevated railway about a mile long that the city repurposed. It's truly beautiful. New York in general is beautiful. It's large and busy and I love it. I can't wait to go back.
